Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I lose control of my assets when I have a revocable living trust?

A: Absolutely not. This is a common misconception. Many people think that if they have a trust, the bank or someone else has control of their assets. With a revocable living trust, as long as you are alive and able, you maintain control over all your own assets. You even file the same income tax returns. Nothing changes but the title to your assets. You can still bank, invest and pay taxes like you always have.
